Student letter shows Simon Youth Foundation impact

A quick post here, but we had to share an email that just came into the Simon Youth Foundation office from a 2011 Simon Youth Scholarship recipient.

Angela Taylor wrote us out of the blue, which is how most of the testimonials and thank-you letters that we receive throughout the year find their way to the office. She wanted to let us know that her first semester of college is going well.

Angela's letter is a welcome reminder to the SYF Board of Directors and staff that our work and mission has real impact in young people's lives. So, let this be a reminder for you, too, that your support of SYF does ignite hope and change lives.

Here's Angela's message to SYF:

From: Angela Taylor
Subject: Update

I am from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am a freshmen attending the University of Memphis. I received the Simon Youth Foundation Scholarship for the 2011-2012 year and I just wanted to say Thank You once again. Also to tell you I am doing really well in school. My classes are going fine and I'm earning really good grades. I just wanted to stay in touch and update you guys on my progress. Thank You
